The eCopy ShareScan Line-of-Business (LOB) Connector provides customers of eCopy's ShareScan suite with the ability to
expand their integration capabilities into custom application solutions. Our connector integrates eCopy ShareScan™ with
Windows Communication Foundation, an extension to the Microsoft .NET Framework and Microsoft's unified programming model
for building service-oriented applications.
What this means for eCopy customers is that you can send your scanned images and documents through the TCP/IP protocol to any configured destination
available to you. Customers can now build Microsoft .NET applications or services to receive, process, and integrate into custom applications
or into your enterprise system.
The eCopy Line of Business Connector can send messages to any TCP/IP address capable of accepting the transmitted message. This not only provides
ShareScan customers with application flexibility, but also means it's location neutral - you can scan your messages for delivery to destinations
anywhere. To this end, Endpoint Systems provides Integration-as-a-Service (IaaS) to help customers connect to our own BizTalk and K2 [blackpearl]
platforms, providing value to customers looking for workflow and integration solutions with their document images.
